Competition for places at Oxford and Cambridge is notoriously fierce. There are around 35000 applicants chasing 7000 places at the two universities.

Both universities want to recruit the best and the brightest students by various admissions tests for certain subjects, alongside the interviews, to help distinguish between the many strong applicants who apply.

Applying for Oxford or Cambridge universities can be a daunting process for both the student and the parents.  Some students begin to fear what the Oxbridge application process may entail after getting stories about previous applications’ experience of dreadful interviews.
